Kickoff of MLS Season 30

The 30th season of Major League Soccer, club football in the United States, has just begun. This year, 30 teams are participating, three of them based in Canada, divided into two conferences, with 18 teams qualifying for the Playoffs. The stadiums attract an average of 20,000 spectators per game, offering attractive working conditions for players, including life and medical insurance, retirement plans, and a strong social commitment to the communities.

The MLS has a large Latin audience, being the third most popular sport in the United States. Cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Austin, Columbus, Houston, Philadelphia, Kansas, and Miami have a strong soccer following. Rivalries like the "El Tráfico" in Los Angeles, the presence of teams like Red Bull and City in New York, as well as competition in cities with a strong soccer tradition stand out.

The rivalry with Liga MX intensifies with tournaments like the Leagues Cup and CONCACAF. The MLS, which can be enjoyed on Apple TV, features Lionel Messi, along with renowned stars from around the world. The newly added San Diego has an attractive competition, with players like Chucky Lozano, and matches that often have many goals.

The United States will be the main host of the upcoming World Cup in 2026, and the MLS serves as a good reference in terms of logistics, organization, and attendance. With the start of the MLS, the Spanish language is common in the stadiums, inviting fans to prepare their snacks and enjoy an exciting tournament.
